More buried treasure lies just outside of Krakow, in the form of the Wieliczka Salt Mines; another of the initial 12 UNESCO heritage sites. Here you can tour a breathtaking subterranean kingdom in which chapels and chambers are made entirely from rock salt.

It’s time to start your Polish adventure! After arrival in Krakow, explore the streets of the city and absorb the magical surroundings.
Delve into the grounds of Wewel Castle and step back into a Medieval realm, visit the Krakow Cloth Hall and the Polish Art Museum, or sample delicious local vodka, the traditional tipple, in one of the local bars. Be sure not to drink too much; a busy day is in store for Day 2!
Today, an emotional, yet a captivating trip to Auschwitz is on the agenda if you would like to attend. If you have booked in advance for the Auschwitz tour, please meet your group leader in the hostel reception no later than 10:00 am on Friday, as your transfer there is booked for 10:30 am.
Please note, that from the hostel, a coach transfer will transport the group to Auschwitz. Please bring a valid ID with you, and do not be late, or your place will be cancelled. NB: The Auschwitz trip is an optional extra and applicants may opt to enjoy another day of free time if they would prefer to do so.
In the evening, it’s time for the renowned Invasion Bar Crawl! 19:30 pm – Meet at Hostel Reception This event is the highlight of the weekend and an absolute must! We will be leaving the hostel at 20:00pm sharp so please don’t be late!
